What you can do

  • A prompt fills the profile

    A prompt sets the profile name, the systems it targets, and why the baseline exists. Fields left empty are filled from that same text, and every field stays editable before the package is saved.

  • Rules and a check script

    The package carries compliance rules and one check script in shell, PowerShell, or Python. The same validator used for imported profiles checks these files. A package that fails validation does not enter the catalog.

  • Saved as a custom profile

    A valid package is stored as custom and does not replace a profile that already uses that name. No audit job starts. Operators review the text, adjust the rules or the script, and run the profile themselves.
